AdAge had a post last week about video and what people hate about online video.
- Video that takes too long to load
- Poor picture quality
- The need to register for some sites
Even though the findings were for online video, I feel they can be applied for video ads. As in-game ads become more relevant and a standard within video games. I think future of in-game ads will include video and the ability to have it become dynamic. The only thing DoubleFusion, and Massive will have to remember is what people hate about online video.
