Today Mashable posted: If Twitter Consisted of 100 People [Gorgeous Graphics]. There were some interesting numbers when you look at it from The World as a village of hundred people.
- On Twitter: 55 women & 45 male vs The World: 49 women & 51 men
- On Twitter: 5 would produce 75% of tweets vs The World: 5 would have 32% of the world’s weather
- On Twitter: 50 would be lazy vs The World: 50 would be malnourished
It’s interesting to look at Twitter as just 100 people. There is more then meets the eye.
