Last month I wrote about my digital and offline experience trying to get some soup on a Sunday: Soup It Up says “No Soup For You… NEXT!”. I wrote the post becuase I was fustrated, hungry and wanted to get my opinons out on how I thought Soup It Up could lead a better online life. The funny thing was that it connected with the company’s CEO, Ian Nefsky. I replied to his comment on my post with a short and brief e-mail. He got back to me yesterday and wanted to say sorry about my experience. He also offered to buy me some soup next time I was looking out for some. I told him I would cetainly take him up on his offer. He also let me know that the Sick Kids’s Soup It Up was open most days until 9pm. This is the second time I wrote about my challenges with a restaurant online and had them get back to me.
