Besides the Transplant the Rainbow video keeping up with the results from the week before. There is not much else to report on the Skittles campaign. On April 3rd I’ll be giving my overview of the last month and what I think Skittles could do to improve their efforts.
YouTube (views)
Transplant the Rainbow: 14,068
Skittles – Tailor: 7,406 Views
Skittles – Sour Man: 5,621 Views
Skittles – Pinata Man: 5,527 Views
The Transplant the Rainbow video from last week increased about 40% in views since last Friday. The other videos have been more or less doing the same over the last 3 weeks.
Twitter Search: 100 Search Pages with 24 Hours
It’s still taking almost 4 days to reach the same end point, which is filling up 100 search result pages on Twitter Search. Since I was not tracking this before the start of the campaign, it’s hard to know if 4 days is the average for Skittles.
Facebook Friends: 614,244
Skittles has a lot of friends on their profile page and this week is no different. They have about 4,000 more then last week. I’m starting to wonder if there is a limit to how many friends you can have on Facebook. Even Obama doesn’t have more then 1 million friends. It’ll be interesting to see what the first company/product/service/person is to reach 1 million friends.
Flickr: Photos: 17,557
Flickr has died down and with only 100+ more photos in the last week, not much can be said for this month long campaign.
Conclusion
On April 3rd I’ll be giving my overview of the last month and what I think Skittles could do to improve their efforts. I can’t believe it has almost been a month since this was launched.
